Cultural Dos and Taboos
1. Speak softly during dinner. It is not unusual if little or no conversation takes place during the meal.
2. Traditional dinners will have the men eating separately from the women and children.
3. Avoid prolonged direct eye contact with persons of the opposite sex.
4. Do not point at people.
5. Do not spit in public.
6. In villages it is common for people to kneel in front of the elderly.
